Kiriko happens upon him when he's at his worst and takes him back to the pit (despite Gou's insistence that this is a Bad Idea and that he does not agree with this course of action at all) where she and Shinnosuke nurse him back to physical health and do their best to help him recover from the trauma. It's long and arduous and every time they take a step forward it seems like they take two steps back, but ever so slowly, Chase starts to get a bit better. And maybe the three of them get a bit closer in the process.

Kiriko happens upon him when he's at his worst and takes him back to the pit (despite Gou's insistence that this is a Bad Idea and that he does not agree with this course of action at all) where she and Shinnosuke nurse him back to physical health and do their best to help him recover from the trauma. It's long and arduous and every time they take a step forward it seems like they take two steps back, but ever so slowly, Chase starts to get a bit better. And maybe the three of them get a bit closer in the process.
